Job Summary

We are looking for a mature, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Accountant who can independently manage the company’s day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Tally, banking, cash handling, GST, and financial record management. The candidate must be disciplined, maintain confidentiality, and execute financial tasks accurately as per the management’s instructions.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally Prime.

* Record all sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and contra entries.

* Handle daily cash transactions and maintain accurate cash books.

* Manage all banking activities, including deposits, withdrawals, cheque processing, NEFT/RTGS/IMPS transactions, and bank reconciliation.

* Maintain customer and vendor ledgers with timely reconciliation.

* Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and accounting reports.

* Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.

* Handle GST-related accounting, TDS entries, and coordinate with the CA whenever required.

* Monitor receivables and payables and maintain payment schedules.

* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for the Proprietor/Management.

* Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information.

* Follow management instructions carefully and ensure timely execution of assigned financial tasks.

* Coordinate with internal departments for smooth financial operations.

Required Skills

* Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime.

* Good understanding of Accounting Principles, GST, TDS, and Banking.

* Excellent cash handling and ledger management skills.

* Bank Reconciliation and Financial Reporting experience.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Basic Formulas preferred).

* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

* High level of honesty, responsibility, and attention to detail.

Candidate Profile

* B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.

* Minimum 3–8 years of accounting experience.

* Experience in handling complete accounts independently.

* Ability to work under deadlines and maintain accuracy.

* Trustworthy, disciplined, and professional.

* Ability to take ownership and report directly to the Proprietor.

Preferred

* Experience in service-based companies, event management, media, production house, or similar industries.

* Immediate joiners will be preferred.
