Accountant

Position: Accountant (GST, TDS & Finalization) 

Location: Kolkata (Client Visit Required) 

We are hiring a skilled Accountant who can independently handle accounts, GST, and compliance work for multiple clients.

🔹 Job Responsibilities:

- Complete accounting in Tally / Zoho Books 

- Passing journal, contra, and adjustment entries 

- GST working, reconciliation & return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) 

- Preparation of Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss 

- TDS calculation, return filing & reconciliation 

- Assisting in Income Tax filing & Tax Audit work 

- Maintaining cost centers & cost categories 

- Client coordination and handling accounts independently 

🔹 Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Tally (mandatory) 

- Knowledge of Zoho Books (preferred) 

- Good command over Excel, Word & PowerPoint 

- Understanding of GST compliance & reconciliation 

- Knowledge of TDS & Income Tax filing 

🔹 Work Structure:

- Candidate should be comfortable working at client offices (2–3 days a week) 

- Remaining work can be handled from office / backend 

- Travel expenses will be reimbursed by the company 

🔹 Experience:

- Minimum 1–3 years in accounting/GST work 

- Freshers with strong practical knowledge may also apply
