Job Description
Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Job Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Appoint, manage, and develop distributors and dealers to increase market coverage.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team.
- Plan and execute market visits to generate new business opportunities.
- Ensure effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies in the assigned area.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends and provide regular feedback to management.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and control outstanding dues.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence reports.
- Conduct product training and sales coaching sessions to improve team productivity and performance.
Key Objective:
To drive sales growth, expand market presence, and ensure efficient management of the assigned sales territory.
