Job Title: Audit Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Audit Executive to review accounting records, verify financial transactions, identify discrepancies, and ensure compliance with applicable tax and statutory regulations. The candidate will work closely with the accounting and compliance teams to maintain accuracy and improve internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit books of accounts prepared by the accounting team.
• Verify purchase, sales, bank, cash, and journal entries.
• Review GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) before filing.
• Verify Income Tax working and supporting documents.
• Check TDS calculations and return filings.
• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
• Identify accounting errors, compliance gaps, and mismatches.
• Ensure vouchers and supporting documents are properly maintained.
• Review financial statements for accuracy.
• Prepare audit observations and discuss findings with the concerned team.
• Follow audit checklists and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Suggest process improvements to strengthen internal controls.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting and Tally.
• Good understanding of GST, Income Tax, and TDS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, audit, or taxation.
• Experience with TallyPrime and GST portal is preferred.
