Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Automobile Technician with hands-on experience in modern automotive electronics, EV systems, and technical support. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, customer-focused, and willing to travel as required. The role combines field installation, diagnostics, and office-based technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and configuration of GPS tracking devices.
  • Installation and calibration of fuel level sensors.
  • Installation, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of advanced automotive sensors.
  • EV battery installation, maintenance, and diagnostics.
  • Vehicle electrical wiring, connections, and fault finding.
  • Dashcam installation and configuration.
  • OBD device installation, connection, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
  • Vehicle calibration and commissioning as per standard procedures.
  • Installation and handling of advanced EV charging sockets and EV chargers.
  • Assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting of E-Rickshaws and E-Bikes.
  • Provide technical support to customers over the telephone and remotely.
  • Visit customer sites for installation, maintenance, and technical assistance whenever required.
  • Prepare basic technical reports and maintain installation records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of automobile electrical and electronic systems.
  • Experience with GPS trackers, fuel sensors, OBD devices, dashcams, and automotive diagnostics.
  • Good understanding of EV batteries, EV charging systems, and vehicle calibration methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with E-Rickshaw and E-Bike assembly and electrical connections.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, internet usage, and email.
  • Basic understanding of servers and network connectivity is preferred.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours based on operational requirements.
  • Willingness to travel extensively whenever required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide remote technical assistance.
  • Proficiency in Hindi is mandatory. Knowledge of English is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in both field service and office-based technical support.
  • Experience in automotive telematics, fleet management systems, or EV technology will be preferred.
