Job Overview:

We are seeking a versatile and skilled CCTV, Access Control & Networking Field Technician to handle our on-site security and infrastructure deployments. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of modern physical security systems and the local networks that support them. You will serve as our primary technical face on the field, delivering high-quality service to residential, commercial, industrial, and corporate clients across West Bengal.

Key Responsibilities:

• CCTV Surveillance Systems:

• Install, position, and commission Analog, HD, and IP-based camera systems (Dome, Bullet, PTZ, Fish-eye) and VMS configuration.
• Set up and configure Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) and Network Video Recorders (NVRs / XVRs), including storage management and motion detection features.

• Access Control & Biometrics:

• Install and configure biometric devices (Fingerprint, Face Recognition, Card Scanners), Boom Barriers and electronic locks (EM locks, Drop bolts).
• Set up standalone and network-based Access Control systems, linking them with time & attendance management software.

• Network Infrastructure & Cabling:

• Lay out structured cabling, including Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A/Cat7 ethernet cables, coaxial cables, Fiber patches, and PVC conduits/casing-capping.
• Terminate, crimp, and punch down cables (RJ45, I/O patch panels) neatly.
• Configure basic networking hardware, including PoE switches, routers, access points (Wi-Fi routers), L3 switches and LAN settings.

• Remote Viewing & Software Setup:

• Set up port forwarding, DDNS, or cloud P2P configurations to enable remote monitoring on clients' smartphones, tablets, and PCs.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to video loss, network dropouts, device synchronization, and hardware failures during service calls.

• Client Handover & Support:

• Conduct site surveys to evaluate hardware requirements and optimal placement.
• Provide a clear post-installation walkthrough to train clients on how to use the systems and software.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: ITI, Diploma, or Certification in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Hardware & Networking, or a related technical field.

• Technical Expertise:

• Proven experience with major industry brands (e.g., Honeywell, Matrix, Essl, Secureeye).
• Clear understanding of IP addressing, VLAN, OFC Networking, Subnetting, Gateway configurations, and Wi-Fi networks.

• Tools: Proficiency in using hand tools, power drills, multi-meters, network cable testers, OTDR and crimping tools.

• Language Skills: Proficient in Bengali and Hindi to effectively interact with local clients and vendors. Basic English reading/writing skills for technical software interfaces are required.

• Mobility: Must possess a valid Two-Wheeler Driving License and a personal vehicle (Bike/Scooter) for field commuting, along with an Android/iOS smartphone for daily reporting.
