Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare raw papri, puchka shells, singara, and other base items from scratch
- Cook and assemble a variety of chaats (e.g., aloo chaat, papri chaat, dahi puri, sev puri, etc.)
- Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all items
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen
- Manage ingredient preparation, storage, and inventory
- Innovate and suggest new chaat items or variations
- Handle bulk preparation during peak hours
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a chaat/snacks chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Indian street food recipes and techniques
- Expertise in preparing dough, frying, and assembling chaats
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Creative mindset for menu improvement
