Civil Draughtsman (Façade)

Position: Civil Draughtsman – Façade

Experience: 3–5 Years (Preferred)

Salary: As per industry standards / Negotiable

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Civil Draughtsman with experience in façade design and detailing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for façade systems while coordinating with architects, structural consultants, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed façade shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.
• Develop accurate 2D drawings based on architectural and structural designs.
• Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawings, section details, and fabrication details.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to resolve design issues.
• Review project specifications and ensure drawings comply with client requirements.
• Modify drawings based on design revisions and site conditions.
• Maintain drawing records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the project execution team by providing technical drafting assistance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and industry standards.
• Coordinate with site teams for drawing clarifications and revisions.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
• Knowledge of façade systems such as:
• Unitized Curtain Wall
• Stick Glazing
• ACP Cladding
• Spider Glazing
• Structural Glazing
• Aluminium Doors & Windows
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing and drafting standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in façade contracting or façade consulting companies will be preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D is mandatory; familiarity with Revit, SolidWorks, or other drafting software is an added advantage.
