Content Specialist – Writing & Strategy

A spiritual-tech and e-commerce startup reimagining how people connect with Sanatan Dharma through meaningful digital experiences, while making authentic spiritual products and offerings accessible across India and globally.

We’re looking for a Content Specialist who genuinely enjoys creating thoughtful, well-researched content, who can walk the line between tradition and trend. You will be a crucial voice in our marketing team, responsible for ensuring our brand remains grounded in authenticity while competing in the fast-paced world of digital e-commerce. If you love exploring spiritual topics, turning ideas into engaging posts or videos, and being part of a team that’s building things from scratch, this role will fit you well.

Core Responsibilities

• Creative Ideation & Narrative Strategy:
• The Idea Machine: Lead brainstorming sessions to develop fresh, original angles that present Sanatan Dharma in a way that resonates with both traditionalists and modern lifestyle audiences.
• Trend Synthesis: Monitor social media landscapes to identify emerging digital trends and "vibe-check" them against our brand values to create timely, viral-ready content.
• Concept Mapping: Turn abstract spiritual themes into concrete visual stories, hooks, and series-based content for our digital channels.

• Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Conduct keyword research to identify high-intent search terms related to spiritual practices and e-commerce products.
• Optimize all on-page elements (meta descriptions, headers, alt-text) to ensure our platform ranks for key cultural and product-led queries.
• Monitor search trends to align our content calendar with what the world is actually looking for in the spiritual-tech space.

• Multimodal Content Creation:
• Scriptwriting: Create high-impact scripts for Reels, YouTube, and video campaigns that blend deep storytelling with high-retention hooks.
• Editorial: Write insightful blog posts and newsletters that offer genuine value while maintaining SEO best practices.
• E-commerce Copy: Craft product stories that explain the spiritual significance and craftsmanship of our offerings, optimized for conversion.

• Deep Research: Dive into scriptures, Vedic philosophy, and cultural history to produce content that is intellectually sound, factually accurate, and avoids "surface-level" cliches.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strategic Writing: The ability to write copy that doesn't just inform but inspires action (engagement, shares, or sales).
• SEO Proficiency: Proven experience in content-led SEO, including keyword mapping, link-building strategy, and using tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console.
• Spiritual Literacy: A deep, respectful understanding of Sanatan Dharma and Hindu traditions, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, engaging English.
• AI-Enabled Productivity (Plus): Experience using advanced AI tools (e.g., Perplexity, Google AI Pro, ChatGPT) to accelerate research, brainstorm SEO-friendly headlines, and optimize content workflows.
• Agility: You thrive in a "build-as-we-go" startup environment and take ownership of your projects from ideation to execution.
