**Job Role: Chef / Cook

Timing -11am to 1030pm


Position Overview**


We are looking for a versatile individual who can manage both Chef / Cook responsibilities for our cafe. The role demands creativity in food preparation, excellent customer service, and a proactive approach to drive revenue growth and ensure operational excellence.

### **Key Responsibilities**


#### **(Chef Duties)**


* Prepare and present high-quality food & beverages (coffee, snacks, mocktails, sandwiches, desserts, etc.).

* Maintain consistency in taste, hygiene, and presentation.

* Innovate and introduce seasonal or special menu items to attract repeat customers.

* Manage kitchen inventory, reduce wastage, and optimize food costs.

* Ensure compliance with food safety and cleanliness standards.


#### **Reception & Customer Engagement**


* Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming environment.

* Take and manage orders (in-person, phone, or delivery platforms).

* Handle billing, cash register, and digital payments accurately.

* Address customer feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

* Upsell menu items and promote combo offers or specials to maximize revenue.


#### **Revenue Handling & Business Growth**


* Track daily sales, prepare reports, and monitor revenue trends.

* Suggest promotional activities (happy hours, loyalty cards, festival offers).

* Monitor customer preferences and adapt menu/operations to increase sales.

* Control expenses by managing resources effectively.

* Support social media and online presence by highlighting new dishes or offers.

* Culinary skills (basic to intermediate, depending on menu).

* Strong customer service and communication skills.

* Basic knowledge of POS (billing) systems and financial handling.

* Ability to multitask between kitchen and reception efficiently.
