Deep Tissue Massage Therapist-Female

We are seeking a professional, Female Massage Therapist with strong expertise in Deep Tissue Massage to join our team on a per-session basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about client care, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and maintains the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism. You will travel to our healthcare location to deliver high-quality therapeutic massages tailored to individual client needs. Compensation is performance-based and calculated per session completed, offering flexibility and earning potential based on your availability and client volume.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client consultations to understand symptoms, medical history, treatment goals, and any contraindications.
• Perform professional Deep Tissue massages and other therapeutic techniques (e.g. trigger point, myofascial release) to address muscle tension, knots, pain, injuries, stress, and mobility issues.
• Evaluate clients before, during, and after sessions to locate tense or painful areas and adjust techniques accordingly.
• Provide guidance to clients on stretching, posture improvement, self-care routines, and follow-up sessions for optimal results.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing treatment environment.
• Uphold strict hygiene and professional standards at all times, including personal grooming and use of appropriate draping techniques.
• Build strong client rapport through a warm, empathetic, and soft-spoken approach to ensure a positive, trusting experience.
• Promote additional wellness services when appropriate and encourage repeat visits.
• Collaborate with the Avante Health team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Manage scheduling and travel to the office location for all assigned sessions.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Certification/Licensure: Valid Massage Therapy certification if available will be an added advantage.
• Experience: Proven experience (6 months+ preferred) specializing in Deep Tissue Massage techniques. Additional modalities (sports massage, hot stone, prenatal, etc.) are a plus.
• Gender: Female
• Physical Ability: Excellent physical stamina and dexterity to perform massages for 45-60 minute sessions.
• Availability: Flexible schedule with willingness to travel to the Avante Healthcare location. Sessions may include evenings or weekends based on client demand.
