Pickup & Delivery Executive (Rider)

Key Responsibilities

1. Pickup & Delivery Operations

• Pick up laundry, dry cleaning, shoes, curtains, carpets, bags, and other items from customers as per the assigned schedule.
• Deliver processed orders safely and within the committed turnaround time.
• Ensure all customer items are handled carefully to prevent damage or loss.
• Verify garments and order details before pickup and delivery.
• Collect customer signatures or confirmations after successful delivery.
• Follow assigned routes efficiently to maximize productivity.

2. Customer Service

• Provide courteous, professional, and friendly service during every customer interaction.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Communicate pickup and delivery updates clearly.
• Address basic customer queries and escalate concerns to the Store Manager when required.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing SpinCare.

3. Cash & Payment Collection

• Collect cash payments, COD amounts, or outstanding dues from customers whenever applicable.
• Ensure accurate handling of cash and digital payments.
• Deposit collected cash as per company guidelines.
• Maintain proper payment records.

4. Order Accuracy & Documentation

• Verify order tags and customer details before dispatch.
• Ensure the correct order reaches the correct customer.
• Report any missing, damaged, or mismatched items immediately.
• Update delivery status through the company's mobile application or reporting system.

5. Vehicle Management

• Keep the company vehicle/bike clean and well-maintained.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before starting daily duties.
• Report maintenance requirements immediately.
• Ensure valid driving licence, insurance, and vehicle documents are always available.

6. Operational Coordination

• Coordinate with Store Managers and the Central Processing Plant.
• Ensure timely movement of garments between stores and the processing facility.
• Follow daily route plans efficiently.
• Support stores during high-order volumes whenever required.

7. Brand Representation

• Represent SpinCare professionally at all times.
• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Build trust and confidence with customers.
• Follow company grooming standards and code of conduct.

8. Safety & Compliance

• Follow all traffic rules and safety regulations.
• Ensure safe transportation of customer garments.
• Handle customer belongings with utmost care.
• Report accidents, delays, or emergencies immediately.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be evaluated based on:

• On-Time Pickup Rate
• On-Time Delivery Rate
• Number of Orders Completed Daily
• Customer Satisfaction
• Delivery Accuracy
• Zero Lost or Damaged Items
• Cash Collection Accuracy
• Attendance & Punctuality
• Route Efficiency
