Job Description (JD) – Cab Driver

Position Cab Driver

Job Location: As assigned by the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive the company-owned cab on our own platform.
• Safely transport passengers while following all traffic rules and service standards.
• Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of passengers.
• Maintain professional behavior and provide courteous service to customers.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents to the company immediately.
• Complete assigned trips efficiently and responsibly.
• Follow all company policies and operational guidelines.

Company Responsibilities

• The company will provide the vehicle.
• All fuel expenses will be borne by the company.
• All vehicle maintenance, servicing, repairs, insurance, and statutory expenses will be borne by the company.
• The driver's primary responsibility is to safely operate the vehicle and complete assigned trips.
• Compensation & Incentives
• The driver will receive weekly settlement.
• Weekly payments will be transferred directly to the driver's registered bank account.
• If the monthly billing exceeds ₹1,10,000, the driver will be eligible for an additional performance incentive ranging from 2% to 8% of the applicable billing amount, as determined by the company based on performance and operational requirements.

Driver's Liability

• The driver shall strictly comply with all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and applicable laws.
• Any traffic challan, penalty, or fine arising due to the driver's negligence, violation of traffic rules, rash driving, illegal parking, overspeeding, or any other driver-related fault shall be borne solely by the driver.
• The company reserves the right to recover the amount of such challans, penalties, damages, or fines by adjusting the same against the driver's salary, weekly settlement, incentives, or any other dues payable to the driver.
• Any damage to the vehicle caused due to the driver's negligence or willful misconduct may also be recovered from the driver after assessment by the company.
• EligibilityValid LMV Commercial Driving License.
• Good knowledge of local routes and navigation.
• Familiarity with smartphone applications and the Driver App.
• Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.
• Clean driving record and willingness to work flexible shifts.
• General TermsThe driver must comply with all company policies and applicable laws.
• Any misconduct, negligence, fraud, intoxicated driving, repeated customer complaints, or violation of company policies may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of employment.
• The company reserves the right to revise operational policies, payment structures, and incentive schemes with prior notice.
