We are looking for an energetic and technically competent Field Sales Engineer to drive business growth by promoting our services and solutions to industrial and commercial customers.
Position Summary
The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for generating sales opportunities, conducting customer visits, understanding technical requirements, preparing techno-commercial proposals, and achieving sales targets for power quality services and related electrical solutions.
The role requires extensive interaction with industrial customers, consultants, EPC contractors, and facility management teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new customers in industrial, commercial, infrastructure, and institutional sectors.
- Conduct regular field visits to manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, utilities, EPC contractors, and consultants.
- Generate inquiries and convert opportunities into orders.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Customer Engagement
Meet Plant Heads, Maintenance Managers, Electrical Managers, Energy Managers, Consultants, and Purchase Teams.
Understand customer requirements and identify opportunities related to:
- Harmonics
- Power Factor Improvement
- Capacitor Bank Performance
- Energy Monitoring
- Electrical Reliability
- Electrical System Diagnostics
- Present technical solutions and value propositions to customers.
Proposal & Tender Management
Gather technical and commercial information from customers.
Coordinate with engineering and estimation teams for proposal preparation.
Prepare and submit techno-commercial offers.
Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
Participate in tendering and bidding activities where required.
Account Management
Develop strong relationships with existing customers.
Identify repeat business opportunities and annual service contracts.
Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Support payment follow-up and collection activities when required.
Market Intelligence
Track competitor activities and market trends.
Identify emerging market opportunities.
Provide regular market feedback to management.
Reporting
Maintain visit reports and sales activity records.
Update CRM and opportunity tracking systems.
Submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
