Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and customer-focused Hairdresser to join our salon team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in cutting, styling, coloring, and treating hair for clients of various ages and preferences. A strong knowledge of hair care, attention to detail, and good interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Cut, trim, and style hair according to client instructions or current trends.

Provide hair treatments such as coloring, highlights, straightening, perming, and conditioning.

Wash, shampoo, and blow-dry hair before or after styling.

Advise clients on suitable hairstyles, products, and aftercare based on hair type and lifestyle.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the salon, tools, and work area.

Keep up with the latest hair and beauty trends.

Build and maintain good relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits.

Handle appointment scheduling and client records professionally.

Qualifications:

Diploma or certification in Hairdressing or Cosmetology from a recognized institute.

Proven experience as a hairdresser in a salon or similar setting.

Good knowledge of hair products, tools, and techniques.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Professional appearance and a friendly attitude.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with bridal or event styling.

Basic knowledge of scalp treatments and hair spa services.

Familiarity with both men's and women's haircuts (optional for unisex salons).

Work Environment:

Salon-based role; requires standing for long hours.

May include weekend and evening shifts depending on client demand.
