Housekeeping

Position: Housekeeper

Work Location: Ballygunge Place

Key Responsibilities: The Housekeeper shall be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the premises, including but not limited to the following duties:

1. Perform daily cleaning of rooms, common areas, corridors, and washrooms across different company-owned or company-managed properties.
2. Ensure washrooms are hygienic, sanitized, odor-free, and presentable at all times.
3. Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, fans, lights, windows, and fittings on a regular basis.
4. Make beds in the morning and evening, ensuring hotel-style cleanliness and presentation.
5. Monitor housekeeping supplies and ensure essential cleaning materials and toiletries are adequately stocked.
6. Operate washing machines to clean laundry, dry and neatly fold clothes as per standards.
7. Promptly report any maintenance issues, repairs, damages, or safety concerns observed at the premises to the reporting authority.
8. Support kitchen operations when required, including cutting vegetables and assisting with basic food preparation.
9. Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other refreshments for staff, guests, and visitors at the office or guest facilities.
10. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and pantry areas.
11. Follow all company hygiene, safety, and housekeeping protocols strictly.

Desired Skills & Attributes

• Prior experience in hotel room service or housekeeping preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and hygiene standards
• Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Polite, disciplined, and service-oriented attitude
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
