Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience)

About the Role

Kolkata Noy is looking for a diligent and disciplined Kitchen Steward to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen. You will be responsible for supporting the culinary team by ensuring all equipment, crockery, and work surfaces are sanitized and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities

• Sanitization: Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen utensils promptly.
• Maintenance: Clean and maintain kitchen equipment (stoves, refrigerators, fryers) and food preparation areas.
• Waste Management: Ensure proper disposal of kitchen waste and maintain the cleanliness of the trash area.
• Kitchen Support: Assist the cook with basic food preparation, such as peeling or chopping vegetables, during peak hours.
• Inventory: Monitor cleaning supply levels and report shortages to the manager.
• Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols as per cafe standards.

Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience as a steward or kitchen helper in a cafe or restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks (lifting, standing for long periods).
• Discipline: Punctuality and a high level of personal hygiene are essential.
• Availability: Must be willing to work evening shifts and weekends.
