Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Executive with hands-on experience in handling matters related to Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, arbitration proceedings, and property search. The candidate will support legal operations, ensure compliance, and manage legal documentation efficiently.
- Key Responsibilities:Handle cases related to Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act (cheque bounce matters)
- Coordinate with advocates for case filings, hearings, and follow-ups
- Draft and review legal notices, agreements, affidavits, and other legal documents
- Manage and track arbitration proceedings and related documentation
- Conduct property search and due diligence (title verification, encumbrance check, etc.)
- Liaise with courts, legal authorities, and external counsels
- Maintain legal records, MIS, and case status updates
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies
- Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)
- Strong knowledge of Negotiable Instruments Act (Section 138)
- Familiarity with Arbitration & Conciliation Act
- Experience in property search and legal due diligence
- Good drafting and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
- Preferred Skills:Experience in NBFC / Banking / FinTech industry
- Knowledge of recovery and collections legal process
- Familiarity with court procedures and documentation
