About us

Stellar Facility Management Services is a GST and Udyam registered facility services firm based in Nimta, Belghariya, serving housing societies and commercial premises across Kolkata. We are also a registered seller on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). We are scaling from a small team to over 200 deployed staff by March 2027, and we need an Operations Manager who can build that team, run it well, and keep us compliant.

What you will do

●   Recruit, verify and induct housekeeping staff, gardeners and supervisors from North 24 Parganas and the surrounding catchment.

●   Run day-to-day site operations — attendance, deployment, quality checks, complaint resolution, monthly service reports.

●   Handle statutory compliance — PF, ESI, CLRA labour licence, minimum wages, statutory registers — with our labour law consultant.

●   Personally supervise the first three site launches and every free demonstration cleaning for prospective clients.

●   Own equipment, chemicals and consumables — procurement, maintenance, stock levels.

●   Report to the Proprietor directly, in a small and growing team.

What we are looking for

●   4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in facility management, housekeeping operations, hotel housekeeping, hospital housekeeping or a similar field.

●   You have personally recruited and supervised at least 15 – 20 field workers before.

●   You understand PF, ESI and minimum wage compliance — not as theory, but from having filed and defended it.

●   You can walk into a labour catchment in North 24 Parganas and bring back candidates by evening.

●   Fluent Bengali. Working Hindi. English not required.

●   You have a two-wheeler and a smartphone.

●   You are ready to be on site personally in the first six months — this is not a desk role.

Not for you if

●   Your background is call centre, retail sales or banking — those skills do not transfer.

●   You need a team under you before you can start work — we are hiring you to build the team.

●   You want to sit only in the office. Half your first six months is on client sites.

What you get

●   Fixed salary of ₹28,000 to ₹32,000 based on experience.

●   Performance incentive of up to ₹5,000 a month against clear monthly targets.

●   PF, ESI and statutory bonus on confirmation after 3 months.

●   Direct reporting to the founder — you will build the operational backbone of the company from scratch, not inherit someone else’s mess.

●   A real path to a Head of Operations role as we scale past 100 staff.
