Printing Press Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Heat Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heat press machines to print designs on t-shirts. This role involves reading and interpreting daily data sheets, preparing garments for printing, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards. Basic English reading skills and basic computer knowledge are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Print T-Shirts: Operate heat press machines to print designs on t-shirts according to daily data and instructions.
• Iron T-Shirts: Prepare t-shirts by ironing them to ensure a smooth surface for printing.
• Fold T-Shirts: Fold t-shirts neatly after printing to prepare them for packaging and distribution.
• Data Interpretation: Read and interpret daily data sheets to determine the required prints and designs.
• Quality Control: Inspect printed t-shirts for quality and accuracy, ensuring all prints meet company standards.
• Basic Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on heat press machines to ensure they operate efficiently.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.

Qualifications:

• Basic English reading skills to understand instructions and data sheets.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
