Job Description
- Job Title: Purchase Executive
- Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and contractors
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid delays in operations
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and supplier details
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse/production teams
- Compare and analyze quotations to select the best supplier
- Ensure quality of purchased items meets required standards
- Handle vendor payments and follow up on invoices
- Resolve issues related to supply delays, shortages, or quality problems
- Required Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
- Analytical and decision-making ability
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (varies by company)
