Job Description – Sales Executive /Sales Manager


 Department:

 Job Summary:


We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive / Sales Manager to drive business growth by generating new leads, developing strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B sales within the iron & steel, engineering, construction, fabrication, electrical, or manufacturing industry and possess excellent negotiation and communication skills.


 Key Responsibilities:


* Generate new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, and client visits.

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, EPC companies, consultants, distributors, dealers, fabricators, and industrial clients.

* Promote and sell the company's iron and steel products, including cable trays, trunking systems, raceways, slotted angles, support systems, and fabricated steel products.

* Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales in accordance with company policies.

* Follow up on inquiries, quotations, purchase orders, and payments to ensure smooth order execution.

* Coordinate with production, operations, dispatch, and accounts departments to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of customer orders.

* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

* Identify new market segments and expand the company's customer base.

* Maintain regular communication with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

* Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.

* Prepare daily sales reports, visit reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline updates for management review.

* Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, client meetings, and promotional activities whenever required.

* Resolve customer complaints and coordinate with internal teams for effective issue resolution.

* Ensure proper documentation of sales orders, contracts, customer records, and CRM updates.


 Eligibility:


* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or any related field.

* MBA in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage.


 Experience:


Sales Executive:


* 1–3 years of experience in B2B industrial sales, preferably in the iron & steel, engineering, construction, electrical, or manufacturing sector.


 Sales Manager:


* 5–10 years of proven experience in industrial sales with a successful track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.


 Required Skills:


* Strong B2B sales and business development skills.

* Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.

* Knowledge of iron & steel products and manufacturing processes.

* Understanding of tendering, quotations, purchase orders, and contract management.

* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

* Customer relationship management and key account handling.

* Market analysis and competitor research.

* Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, CRM software, and email communication.

* Ability to travel for client meetings and business development activities.

* Target-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.


 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


* Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.

* Number of new clients acquired.

* Revenue growth and order conversion ratio.

* Customer retention and repeat business.

* Timely quotation submission and follow-up.

* Collection of outstanding payments.

* Customer satisfaction and complaint resolution.
