Job SummaryThe Sales Team Leader is responsible for managing and motivating a team of insurance sales executives or advisors to achieve business targets. The role involves driving sales performance, recruiting and training team members, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and insurance regulations.
- Key ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, and support a team of insurance sales agents/advisors.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop sales strategies to increase policy sales and market share.
- Recruit, train, and mentor new sales team members.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
- Conduct field visits and joint client meetings with team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and corporate clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and policy retention.
- Prepare sales reports and performance analysis for management.
- Ensure compliance with insurance industry regulations and company guidelines.
- Coordinate with underwriting, operations, and customer service departments.
