Job Description
SEO and SMO Executive Job RoleThe SEO and SMO Executive is responsible for improving a brand’s online visibility, increasing website traffic, and growing engagement across social media platforms. In a digital marketing agency, this role supports multiple clients by planning and executing search engine optimization and social media optimization strategies.
- Job ResponsibilitiesPlan and implement SEO strategies to improve website rankings on search engines.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and website audits.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, images, and internal links.
- Work on on-page and off-page SEO activities.
- Manage SMO activities across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
- Create and schedule engaging social media posts and campaign content.
- Monitor social media performance and suggest improvements.
- Track website traffic, keyword rankings, engagement, and campaign performance.
- Prepare regular reports using analytics tools.
- Coordinate with content writers, designers, and paid marketing teams.
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and social media trends.
- Required SkillsGood knowledge of SEO tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of on-page and off-page optimization.
- Experience with social media platforms and content planning.
- Basic knowledge of content marketing and digital branding.
- Good written communication and creative thinking.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare performance reports.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and similar tools.
