Stewards

We are looking for a disciplined, friendly, and attentive Restaurant Stewards/Captain to join our Taste Of Kolkata Restaurant team located in BHUBANESWAR .In this role, you will be the face of our service standards—ensuring that tables are pristine, guests are warmly greeted, and service runs smoothly. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains immaculate hygiene standards, and possesses strong team-working skills.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service: Greet and welcome customers upon entering and leaving the restaurant.

Table Setup: Clean, sanitize, and set up dining tables with fresh linens, cutlery, and seasonal decorations.

Order Support: Present clean menus, answer questions about dishes, and accurately take or relay orders.

Station Management: Stock side stations with essential items like condiments, napkins, trays, and clean silverware.

Table Turnaround: Promptly clear dirty plates and glasses as guests finish meals, resetting tables for the next customers.

Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain sanitation standards across the dining hall, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing surfaces.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Assist kitchen staff with basic dish prep and help servers deliver heavy food and beverage trays.

Skills & Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is a plus.

Experience: Prior experience in a food and beverage or hospitality role is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays weighing up to 25 lbs (approx. 11 kg) for long shifts.

Communication: Polite and clear verbal skills to interact easily with guests and teammates.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
