Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous engagement with system performance and user feedback to maintain high service quality and reliability, contributing to the overall efficiency of business processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues.
- Document and communicate findings and solutions clearly to stakeholders.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster their development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Laboratory Information and Execution Systems Labware.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities related to software applications.
- Experience with system monitoring and incident management tools.
- Ability to analyze complex system interactions and identify root causes.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with software lifecycle and support methodologies.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Labware LIMS - Laboratory Information and Execution Systems.
- This position is based at our KDC1A - SEZ location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
