Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs, then translating those needs into well-structured application designs. The role requires active participation in defining detailed requirements and contributing to the creation of tailored software solutions that align with organizational processes. Throughout the day, the engineer engages in problem-solving discussions, refines application workflows, and ensures that the software design supports efficient and effective business operations. This position demands continuous interaction with various teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of custom applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within the project scope.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of custom software components.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday US Time Tracking, Workday Extend.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing custom applications within Workday environments.
- Experience in analyzing business processes to develop effective software solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Workday Time Tracking configurations and workflows.
- Familiarity with Workday reporting and integration tools to support application functionality.
- Skilled in collaborating with diverse teams to deliver high-quality software products.
