Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. The role requires working within dynamic environments, applying modern development frameworks, and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software. Collaboration with different teams to align solutions with business objectives and continuous improvement of software performance are integral parts of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices in software development to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software solutions with organizational goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering, Python (Programming Language), Selenium.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Python (Programming Language), Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience with designing scalable and high-performance software architectures.
- Ability to work with modern development frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with debugging, testing, and performance tuning of software applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
