Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with teams to apply modern development frameworks and agile methodologies, ensuring that the solutions are scalable and perform efficiently. The engineer focuses on meeting specific business requirements by continuously enhancing software functionality and collaborating with stakeholders to align technical outcomes with organizational goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Maintain and optimize existing software components to improve performance and reliability.
- Document development processes and solutions to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in their development tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and enhancing custom software solutions using SAP ABAP on HANA platform.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and ability to optimize code for performance in HANA environments.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and modern development frameworks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
