Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, your day typically involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs. Throughout the day, you will analyze requirements, contribute to application design discussions, and support the development of systems that enhance operational efficiency. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that the software applications developed are well-suited to meet evolving business demands, fostering seamless integration and functionality within the enterprise environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine application requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software issues to maintain system reliability.
- Document design specifications and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core Compensation.
- Strong understanding of compensation management processes and related software configurations.
- Experience in designing and implementing compensation modules within enterprise applications.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data flow within Workday environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality assurance.
