Delivery Person

Job Overview:

The Delivery Person is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from one location to another, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining a high standard of customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Delivery of Goods:

Transport products or packages to assigned locations in a timely and safe manner.

·        Route Management:

Follow planned routes and schedules, ensuring efficient travel and minimal delays.

·        Customer Interaction:

Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with customers during deliveries. Address any customer inquiries or concerns in a respectful manner.

·        Loading and Unloading:

Load packages or products into the vehicle in an organized manner to prevent damage. Ensure safe unloading at the destination.

·        Inspection of Goods:

Inspect items for any visible damage before leaving the distribution center and after receiving items at the delivery point.

·        Documentation:

Accurately complete delivery paperwork, including delivery confirmation, signatures, and inventory counts, when necessary. Maintain proper records of deliveries.
