Infra Tech Support Practitioner
Project Role : Infra Tech Support PractitionerProject Role Description : Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products (both remote and onsite) and for configured services running on various platforms (operating within a defined operating model and processes). Provide hardware/software support and implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas, and for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Work includes L1 and L2/ basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.

Summary:
As an Infra Tech Support Practitioner, a typical day involves delivering continuous technical assistance and upkeep for both production and development environments. This role requires managing and supporting various systems and software products across multiple platforms, ensuring smooth operation within established processes. The work includes addressing hardware and software issues, implementing technology solutions at the operating system level, and providing support for servers, networks, and specific software vendors. Tasks are performed both remotely and onsite, focusing on resolving issues at basic and intermediate levels to maintain system reliability and performance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to build knowledge and support the team.
- Participate in Problem Solving discussions.
- Assist in monitoring system performance and identifying potential issues proactively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of technology solutions.
- Document technical procedures and troubleshooting steps to enhance team knowledge base.
- Support junior team members by sharing insights and providing guidance on routine tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux.
- Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals and command-line tools.
- Experience with system monitoring and basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with server and network hardware components and their interactions.
- Ability to work with various software vendors and understand their product configurations.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 0-2 years of experience in Linux.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
