We are inviting applications for the role of a Management Trainee/Assistant Manager – RTR, VAT
We are looking for professionals who will provide legal, regulatory and tax compliance for multiple entities and focuses particularly on VAT analyses and preparation.

Responsibilities
Operation related:
•    Complete all submissions required for VAT and sales tax compliance in applicable jurisdictions (including EC Sales and Intrastat)
•    Support the VAT and sales tax registration process, including by consulting with Customer as needed
•    Prepare all VAT and sales tax returns in a manner compliant with Law for Customer Approval as per agreed deadlines
•    Reconcile VAT and sales tax accounts and resolve or escalate any discrepancies. 
•    Maintain records and provide support for VAT and sales tax in the event of an audit

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
•    Multi years of accounting experience in a multi-GAAP environment or / and  country specific knowledge of taxation& accounting rules applicable from country-to-country if applicable  
•    Experience of closing the books, ideally in an international environment or in the R2R function of an SSC
•    Understanding of basic VAT obligations and regulations
•    Witten and verbal fluency in English language

Soft Skills
•    Effective interpersonal skills when dealing with country affiliates & business partners
•    Highly organized with demonstrated ability to meet commitments within strict deadlines
•    Able to re-prioritize / re-organize to work through roadblocks
•    Flexible approach with a strong team spirit

Technical skills
•    Computer Literacy: MS Office, particularly Excel
•    ERP system (SAP)
