Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant-BI Analyst 

Responsibilities: 

1. Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for various departments and business units. 

2. Create visually appealing and interactive reports that provide insights to stakeholders and decision-makers. 

3. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations. 

4. Design and implement data models and data transformations to support reporting needs. 

5. Perform data analysis and provide recommendations for improving data quality and reporting accuracy. 

6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data sources, data connections, and report performance. 

7. Train and support end-users in accessing and utilizing Power BI reports. 

8. Stay updated with the latest Power BI and Tableau features and best practices. 

9. Assist in the migration of reports and dashboards from Tableau to Power BI. 

10. Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to enhance the overall reporting and analytics platform.

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications: 

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 

2. professional experience in Power BI report development. 

3. Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation. 

4. Knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices. 

5. Key Skill Sets: 

6. Proficiency in Power BI report development, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations. 

7. Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices. 

8. Experience in creating interactive and dynamic reports using Power BI features like drill-through, bookmarks, and filters. 

9. Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases to query and manipulate data. 

10. Familiarity with Tableau report development and data visualization. 

11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify data issues and provide solutions. 

12. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with business users and stakeholders. 

14. Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is a plus. 

15. Experience with other BI tools like QlikView, MicroStrategy, or SAP BusinessObjects is a bonus. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

1. Power BI certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate). 

2. Experience in Tableau report development and data visualization. 

3. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis. 

4. Knowledge of data modeling techniques and dimensional modeling. 

5. Prior experience in migrating reports from Tableau to Power BI. 

6. Understanding of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS for data storage and processing.
