Job Description

About Us

Blumium is a growing manufacturing company specializing in high-performance aluminium systems for the HVAC and façade industry. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounting operations and support the company's financial administration.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Generate quotations, proforma invoices, tax invoices, and delivery challans.
  • Manage accounts payable and ensure timely processing of vendor payments.
  • Manage accounts receivable, monitor customer outstanding balances, and follow up on collections.
  • Maintain and update sales registers, purchase registers, and inventory-related financial records.
  • Process purchase entries and verify vendor bills against purchase orders and goods receipts.
  • Prepare payment schedules and manage cash flow requirements.
  • Maintain petty cash records and expense documentation.
  • Prepare and reconcile GST data and coordinate with external consultants for statutory filings.
  • Deduct and account for TDS and maintain related records.
  • Coordinate with auditors, bankers, vendors, and customers on financial and accounting matters.
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports, including receivables ageing, payables ageing, cash position, and sales reports.
  • Assist management with budgeting, financial analysis, and cost tracking.
  • Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents, contracts, invoices, and supporting records.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of GST, TDS, invoicing, and Indian accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Good analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and work independently.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, building materials, or industrial products company.
  • Familiarity with inventory accounting and basic cost accounting principles.
  • Experience handling e-way bills, e-invoicing, and vendor/customer reconciliations.
