TIG/MIG Welder - (For UK & Ireland)

Job description:

Our client are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join their team in Northern Ireland. Applicants must have right to work in the UK. UK visa sponsorship available for the overseas candidates.

Duties

• Fabricate components from drawings and instructions to ensure what is produced meets customer requirements
• Use MIG welder to produce goods as required from mild steel, Hardox and other metals
• Produce bespoke and small batch production jobs
• Quality check own work to ensure specifications are meet
• Operation of equipment under your control to ensure safety of yourself and others
• Maintaining good housekeeping in your work area, clearing spillages etc.
• Maintaining stock required for your work, reporting future requirements to your Manager promptly.
• Maintaining your machine in good working order, reporting faults to your Manager as necessary.
• Loading/ offloading despatches or deliveries as required.
• Operating gantries as required.
• Driving forklift as required if authorised and qualified to do so.
• Working with others in a cooperative manner to ensure an efficient and harmonious atmosphere.
• Ensuring that your production time is allocated to the correct job.
• Any other duties as required from time to time by management which are within your competence to carry out

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in MIG welding/Fabrication
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes involving sheet metal and structural components
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to assembly and fabrication tasks
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided where necessary

Salary : ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per month
