Accounts Executive

We are looking to hire a skilled ‘Accounts Executive’, preferably female, who can run the daily, weekly and monthly charters of FinOps with negligible to no guidance. If you are passionate about problem-solving by your own, and you can OWN the tasks to resolve them in a highly evolving & choatic environment, then we should meet.

About this role

This is an Individual Contributor role where you would be getting engaged in executing effective and daily accounting practices to create enormous impact.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Data entry and book-keeping in accounting software for vendors, customers, etc.
• Managing and controlling of the organization’s finance & accounting operations based on accounting principles
• Preparation of the organization’s monthly bank reconciliations statements of all bank accounts
• Ensuring daily accounting and categorization of various sales & purchase transactions
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation of ledgers
• Follow up with stakeholders to get the job done
• Leverage books of accounts to prepare reports and statements
• Present correct data to internal stakeholders during audits, reviews and meetings
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing process
• Participate in tax computation and preparing balance sheet, profit/loss statement, etc.

Skills (mandatory)

• Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in managing Accounting
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Very Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Speadsheets
• Time-management & Organizational abilities
• Good Report Writing & Presentation Skills
• Ability to manage stress well and owning responsibilities

Skills (Good to have)

• Familiar with GAAP
• Familiar with Tally or Zoho Books
• Familiar with eCommerce industry nuances, especially sales, purchase & logistics
