Billing Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Order Processing: Accurately enter dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders into the restaurant's POS software and relay them to the kitchen. [1]
• Billing & Invoicing: Calculate costs, apply applicable taxes/discounts, and print or email itemized receipts. [1, 2]
• Payment Collection: Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and digital/UPI payments, providing exact change and processing refunds if necessary. [1, 2]
• Reconciliation: Count the cash register at the start and end of shifts, ensuring total sales match the recorded transactions. [1]
• Customer Service: Greet guests, assist with billing queries or discrepancies, and maintain a welcoming front desk environment. [1, 2]
• Coordination: Communicate seamlessly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure orders are fulfilled and billed correctly. [1]

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Minimum of a 10th pass or a High School Diploma; a degree in hospitality or commerce is often preferred.
• Experience: Typically 1 to 2 years of prior experience in a fast-paced F&B or retail environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with POS billing machines and basic computer/spreadsheet skills.
