Block Sales Officer

Job Title: Field Assistant (FA) – Agri Inputs & Cattle Feed

Work Location:

Various districts of Uttar Pradesh (District / Block Level)

Role Purpose:

The primary responsibility of the Field Assistant is to build strong relationships with farmers at the village level, generate demand for agricultural inputs and cattle feed, increase sales, and educate farmers about the correct products and their usage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Establish contact with farmers in villages and promote company products.
2. Increase sales of agricultural inputs (seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc.) and cattle feed.
3. Guide farmers in selecting the right products and provide proper usage instructions (dosage/application).
4. Conduct regular field visits within the assigned area (district/block/village).
5. Acquire new farmers and maintain relationships with existing customers.
6. Collect information on farmers’ needs and challenges.
7. Support order booking and ensure timely delivery.
8. Achieve assigned sales targets.
9. Gather information about competitor products in the market.
10. Assist in company activities such as demonstrations, farmer meetings, and promotional events.
11. Submit daily work reports.

Qualification:

• Minimum qualification: 12th pass / Graduate (Agriculture or related field preferred)
• Basic knowledge of agriculture is required
• Good understanding of the local language (Hindi)

Skills Required:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with farmers
• Ability to work in field conditions
• Interest in sales
• Target-oriented mindset
• Ability to report using a mobile device

Experience:

• 1–5 years (Freshers can also apply)
• Experience in Agri Inputs / Cattle Feed / FMCG sales will be preferred
