Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive GeM Executive to manage end-to-end operations on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The candidate will be responsible for product listing, bid participation, order processing, compliance documentation, and coordination with government buyers to ensure successful order execution.
Key Responsibilities
Portal Management: Handle end-to-end operations on the GeM portal, including seller registration, profile updates, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) panel management.
Catalog & Listing: Create, upload, and maintain product/service catalogs. This includes updating technical specifications, images, documentation, and competitive pricing.
Bid & Tender Management:
Identify relevant bids, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tenders on the portal.
Prepare and submit technical and financial bids in coordination with sales and technical teams. Manage participation in Reverse Auctions and Bunch Bids.
Order Processing: Track orders received through the portal, coordinate with production for timely dispatch, and generate necessary shipping documents or invoices.
Payment & Compliance: Monitor payment schedules, follow up with government buyers for timely payments, and ensure 100% compliance with GeM policies to avoid penalties or blacklisting.
Liaison & Support: Resolve buyer queries, handle portal-related technical issues, and interact with government procurement officers to maintain professional relationships.
Manage company profile and product/service listings on the GeM portal.
Search and analyze relevant bids, BOQs, and tenders.
Prepare and submit bids within timelines.
Handle reverse auctions and price negotiations.
Coordinate for EMD, SD, and other tender-related documentation.
Ensure compliance with GeM guidelines and government procurement policies.
Process orders received through GeM and coordinate dispatch.
Track payments and follow up for invoice clearance.
Maintain records of bids, orders, and performance reports.
Communicate with government departments for clarifications and issue resolution.
