JOB DESCRIPTION – LEGAL OFFICER

What You'll Do (Your Mission!)
1. Government Liaisoning & Stakeholder Management
· Build and maintain strong relationships with Government Departments, Regulatory Authorities, Airport Authorities, Municipal Bodies, and other statutory agencies.
· Represent the organization in official meetings, inspections, and coordination activities.
2. Regulatory Approvals & Compliance
· Obtain, renew, and manage licenses, permissions, NOCs, approvals, and statutory clearances required for business operations.
· Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and maintain all regulatory records and documentation.
3. Airport & Government Authority Coordination
· Coordinate with Airport Authorities, Nagar Nigam, PWD, Police, Railways, Metro Authorities, and other government bodies for operational approvals and project execution.
· Monitor policy changes and ensure timely implementation of regulatory requirements.
4. Tender Management
· Identify relevant tenders, evaluate eligibility criteria, coordinate documentation, and ensure timely submission of tender applications.
· Track tender status and maintain records of participation and outcomes.
5. Documentation & Reporting
· Maintain records of approvals, licenses, government correspondence, and compliance documents.
· Provide regular status updates and reports to management on approvals, compliance matters, and critical issues.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
· Collaborate with internal departments for execution of government-related activities, regulatory requirements, and strategic business initiatives.
7. Preferred Exposure
· Experience in Outdoor Advertising, Airport Media, Infrastructure, Government Projects, Public Sector Liaisoning, or Regulatory Affairs will be preferred.
· Existing professional network within Government Departments and Regulatory Authorities will be an added advantage.

What We're Looking For
· Graduate or Postgraduate in Laws
· Degree/Diploma in Law, Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or related field will be preferred.
· 2+ years of experience in Government Liaisoning, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Public Relations, or Government Relations.
· Strong understanding of statutory approvals, licenses, and government processes.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
· Strong drafting, documentation, and follow-up abilities.
· Proficiency in MS Office and official correspondence.
