Liaisoning Officer

A Liaisoning Officer in the solar sector is responsible for coordinating between the company and various government departments, regulatory authorities, DISCOMs (electricity distribution companies), and local bodies to ensure smooth approvals and compliance for solar projects.

The primary goal is to prevent project delays by securing timely permissions and maintaining regulatory compliance.

•  Key Responsibilities1. Government & Regulatory CoordinationCoordinate with State Electricity Boards, DISCOMs, Pollution Control Boards, Revenue Department, Municipal Authorities, etc.
• Obtain necessary approvals, NOCs, permits, and licenses.
• Handle net-metering approvals and grid connectivity permissions.
• 2. Documentation & CompliancePrepare and submit required documents for project approvals.
• Ensure compliance with central and state solar policies and regulations.
• Track regulatory changes affecting solar installations.
• 3. Project FacilitationAssist in land-related approvals for ground-mounted solar plants.
• Coordinate inspections by government authorities.
• Support commissioning and connectivity approvals.
• 4. Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong working relationships with government officials.
• Represent the company in meetings with regulatory authorities.
• 5. Follow-ups & ReportingTrack approval timelines and follow up on pending applications.
• Provide regular status updates to management.
