Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for a confident, well-spoken, and dynamic News Anchor to present news stories in a clear, engaging, and professional manner. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong on-camera presence, and the ability to deliver news accurately under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Present news bulletins on TV, digital platforms, or social media channels
- Research, verify, and write news scripts when required
- Collaborate with reporters, producers, and editorial teams
- Conduct interviews with guests, experts, and public figures
- Stay updated with current affairs, trends, and breaking news
- Maintain professionalism and composure during live broadcasts
- Ensure proper pronunciation, tone, and clarity while delivering news
- Follow editorial guidelines and company policies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field
- Excellent command over Hindi and/or English (both preferred)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confident on-camera personality
- Good voice modulation and diction
- Ability to handle live situations and breaking news calmly
- Basic knowledge of teleprompter usage and studio setup
- Strong research and analytical skills
