Job Description
Staff Nurse Job Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Perform routine assessments, monitor vital signs, and provide both physical and emotional support.
- Clinical Duties: Administer prescribed medications, start IVs, and assist physicians during diagnostic tests and minor procedures.
- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous health care records and report any sudden changes in patient conditions.
- Ward Management: Oversee shift handovers, manage medical equipment and supplies, and supervise auxiliary staff (like nursing aides).
- Education: Provide disease prevention and health maintenance advice to patients and their families.
