Job Title
Hospital Pharmacy Incharge
Reports To : Hospital Administrator / Medical Superintendent
Job Summary
Responsible for managing hospital pharmacy operations, ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing, inventory control, regulatory compliance, and supervision of pharmacy staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations.
- Ensure accurate dispensing of medicines as per prescriptions.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and expiry control.
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
- Supervise and train pharmacy staff.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and suppliers.
- Maintain pharmacy records and prepare required reports.
- Ensure medication safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- B.Pharm or M.Pharm.
- Valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
- Experience3–5 years of hospital pharmacy experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
Skills
- Pharmacy operations and inventory management.
- Leadership and communication.
- Knowledge of hospital pharmacy software and regulatory requirements.
- Problem-solving and attention to detail.
