PHP Developer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled PHP CodeIgniter (CI) Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using PHP and the CodeIgniter framework. The role involves developing scalable applications, integrating APIs, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and the CodeIgniter framework.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following coding standards.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Optimize application performance and database queries.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Perform code reviews and ensure best development practices.
• Manage MySQL databases, including query optimization and schema design.
• Maintain application security and implement secure coding practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and support application deployment.
• Required SkillsStrong proficiency in PHP and the CodeIgniter framework.
• Good understanding of MVC architecture.
• Experience with MySQL database design and optimization.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of web security principles and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Preferred SkillsExperience with Bootstrap or other frontend frameworks.
• Knowledge of Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
• Familiarity with Linux servers and Apache/Nginx.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.

Educational QualificationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
