Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative, strategic, and politically aware Social Media Manager to handle digital communication and online presence for the political department. The candidate will be responsible for managing social media platforms, creating engaging political content, handling public engagement, and building a strong digital image across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Manage and operate all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, and WhatsApp channels.

·       Plan and execute political digital campaigns and promotional activities.

·       Create and schedule daily content including posters, reels, videos, captions, and political updates.

·       Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, photographers, and content writers.

·       Monitor social media trends, public sentiment, and political discussions.

·       Respond to audience queries, comments, and messages professionally.

·       Increase followers, engagement, and online reach through organic and paid strategies.

·       Prepare social media reports, analytics, and performance tracking.

·       Cover political events, rallies, campaigns, press conferences, and public activities digitally.

·       Ensure all content aligns with the party/organization’s vision and communication guidelines.

Required Skills:

·       Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing.

·       Knowledge of political communication and public engagement.

·       Basic knowledge of graphic designing tools and video content trends.

·       Excellent communication and content writing skills in Hindi and English.

·       Ability to work under pressure and during political campaigns/events.

·       Creative thinking and trend awareness.

Qualification:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Political Science, or related field.

·       Experience in political/social media management preferred.

Experience:

·       2–5 years of experience in social media management, preferably in political or public relations sector.

Preferred Qualities:

·       Strong political awareness and current affairs knowledge.

·       Leadership and team coordination skills.

·       Flexible working hours during campaigns and events.

·       Ability to manage crisis communication online.
