Job Description
School Warden (Residential/Boarding)The Lucknow Public Collegiate (LPC) is inviting applications for the position of School Warden to oversee the safety, discipline, and well-being of students residing in our boarding house.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and welfare of boarding students.
- Maintain discipline and uphold school rules within the hostel.
- Manage students' daily routine, including wake-up, study hours, meals, recreation, and lights-out.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of hostel facilities.
- Coordinate with teachers, hostel staff, kitchen staff, and administration.
- Maintain hostel records, attendance, leave registers, and incident reports.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate support to students.
- Counsel and mentor students to promote personal growth and responsible behaviour.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' welfare when required.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and boarding procedures.
- EligibilityGraduate in any discipline (Postgraduate preferred).
- Previous experience as a Hostel Warden, Residential School Warden, Defence Personnel, or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle adolescents with empathy while maintaining discipline.
- Physically fit and willing to reside on campus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in CBSE/Residential Schools.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Crisis management and conflict resolution skills.
- First Aid certification will be an added advantage.
