Job Summary The Computer Teacher is responsible for teaching computer science, information technology and digital literacy to students.

The role involves planning lessons, conducting practical sessions, evaluating student performance and helping learners develop technical skills required for academics and future careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Learning
• Teach computer fundamentals, programming and digital skills.
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.
• Conduct theory and practical computer classes.
• Explain concepts using real-world examples and activities.
• Encourage problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Curriculum Delivery

• Teach topics such as:
• Computer Fundamentals
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Internet and Email
• Coding (Scratch, Python, Java, C++) (Prefered but can apply if not aware)
• Web Design (HTML, CSS)

• Student AssessmentPrepare assignments, quizzes and examinations.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain academic records and attendance.
• Laboratory ManagementMonitor computer lab activities.
• Ensure proper use of hardware and software.
• Report technical issues and coordinate for maintenance.
• Maintain lab inventory and equipment records.
• Student DevelopmentGuide students in projects and competitions.
• Support students in developing digital and technology skills.
• Encourage innovation and creativity through practical learning.

• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science) or related field.
• Relevant certifications in programming, networking, AI or Microsoft technologies are an advantage.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of computer applications and programming.
• Proficiency in MS Office and educational technology tools.
• Knowledge of AI tools and digital learning platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Classroom management abilities.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Preferred Experience

Fresher - 1–5 years of teaching or training experience.

• Experience with online teaching platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience in conducting practical computer lab sessions.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Student academic performance.

• Completion of syllabus within timelines.
