Dispatch Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

•      Supervise and coordinate day-to-day loading, unloading, and dispatch of goods

•      Lead and manage a dispatch team of 5–6 workers, assigning daily tasks and ensuring smooth operations

•      Plan and coordinate dispatch schedules with transporters and logistics partners

•      Ensure goods are packed, labeled, and loaded correctly as per order requirements

•      Verify quantities and match dispatch material against invoices/packing lists before loading

•      Coordinate with the sales and accounts teams to ensure timely and accurate dispatches

•      Maintain dispatch records, logbooks, and vehicle loading reports

•      Ensure safety practices are followed during loading/unloading operations

•      Resolve on-ground issues related to transport delays, vehicle availability, or material shortages

Requirements

•      12th pass (minimum qualification)

•      2–4 years of experience in dispatch/logistics, preferably in a manufacturing setup

•      Proven ability to supervise and manage a team of 5–6 workers

•      Good coordination skills with transporters, drivers, and internal departments

•      Basic knowledge of dispatch documentation (invoices, packing lists, e-way bills)

•      Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under time pressure

•      Physically fit and comfortable working on the dispatch/loading floor

•      Good communication skills in Hindi/Punjabi; basic English preferred
